The Mercedes-Benz brand has established itself as the premier automotive partner of global fashion, following 22 years of commitment to the industry. Currently supporting over 60 fashion platforms globally, including title sponsorship of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Weeks across the globe, Mercedes-Benz was once again proud to align with New Zealand Fashion Week in 2019.

The brand’s contribution to fashion draws on the unique parallels that exist between the industries. Both the luxurious automotive and fashion worlds recognise passion, style, avant-garde design, high quality materials and first-class technical innovations as the factors most critical for success.

The coveted ‘Mercedes-Benz Presents’ designer for New Zealand Fashion Week 2019 was Paris Georgia. Like Mercedes-Benz, Paris Georgia is dedicated to quality craftsmanship, with the inspiration for their work often springing from the textiles they source. Each custom-made fabric is created alongside suppliers to ensure it flatters the female form. Paris Georgia attributes much of their success to the strong community of women that have helped build the brand to date. Paris and Georgia look to their mothers, their friends and the women around them as real life muses.

Paris Georgia is a brand that prides itself in producing garments to make women feel empowered and confident. Since launching in 2014, designers Paris Mitchell-Temple and Georgia Cherrie have been known for their clever use of fabrics and colours. Producing garments that are instant luxurious classics, they are an ideal collaborator to work alongside Mercedes-Benz in 2019 and 2020.
