Sport
Imagine you’re enjoying a leisurely country drive in Comfort mode when things suddenly turn twisty – perhaps you’ve hit the bottom of a mountain pass.
This is the ideal time to switch to Sport mode. The result? Sharper steering, stiffer adaptive suspension, refined transmission shift points and a modified throttle response that is akin to giving your Mercedes-Benz a hit of caffeine – upping its responsiveness and agility.

Sport+|
If you’re on a race track and behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz performance car such as the Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupé, Sport+ will show what your vehicle can really do.
Optimised for high speeds and super-tight corners, Sport+ revels in dynamic load changes, with the DCT transmission adapting to meet the exacting needs of the track (in short, it revs longer and harder in each gear before shifting up).
The throaty roar of the exhaust is, of course, essential to the experience, and Sport+ mode opens up the variable exhaust flaps completely so the unmistakable V8 power of a vehicle such as the C 63 is more audible – like music to our ears.
Eco
If you like the sound of a drive that benefits the planet and your back pocket, the ultra fuel-efficient Eco mode is for you.
This is the perfect driving mode for a commute around town that involves lots of stopping and starting. Eco mode not only switches off your engine when sitting idle at traffic lights, but also delivers a more relaxed engine response and modified climate control settings that are designed to maximise fuel consumption, reducing your fuel costs – and carbon dioxide emissions – in the process.
Individual
If you’re a car enthusiast who likes to take matters into their own hands, Individual mode gives you the option to customise your driving experience to your specific requirements.
Think of it as the ultimate motoring mix-and-match: if you want to combine the shock absorbers in Comfort, the engine response and steering feel in Sport, and the exhaust system in Sport+ (where fitted), Individual will allow you to do so.
