Mercedes-Benz Service Plan

Extend your service plan with the 4th and 5th year Mercedes-Benz Service Plan. This 2 year service plan ensures that you can enjoy peace of mind beyond the complimentary 3 year scheduled servicing period.

Vehicles servicing will include:

  • Computer diagnostic analysis.
  • Complete visual inspection.
  • Engine oil replacement.
  • Installation of genuine filter(s).
  • Replacement air filter (subject to service criteria).
  • Any corrective adjustments itemised in the Mercedes-Benz Service schedule.
  • Warrant of Fitness inspections (if required).

Exclusions may apply. The scheduled services performed will include all lubricants and genuine service parts required by the Mercedes-Benz service schedule. Refer to 'Exclusions from the Scheduled Service Plan’.

The 4th & 5th year Mercedes-Benz Service Plans are available on eligible new and demonstrator vehicles only at the time of vehicle sale and provides scheduled servicing for up to 5 years from the first registration date of the vehicle. Service Plan pricing varies between vehicles and may be subject to change.

Service Inclusions:

· Safety Checks, Service and Maintenance Work
· All work stipulated in the relevant Mercedes-Benz Digital Service Booklet (DSB)

· Replace brake fluid
· Replace air filter
· Replace fuel filter
· Replace spark plugs
· Replace coolant
· Automatic transmission: oil and filter change
· Replace dust/cabin filter

The 4th & 5th year Mercedes-Benz Service Plans are available on eligible new vehicles at the time of vehicle sale and provides scheduled servicing for up to 5 years from the first registration date of the vehicle. Service Plan pricing varies between vehicles and may be subject to change.

The owner’s responsibilities are to ensure the following basic conditions are fulfilled:

• Owners must maintain their Mercedes-Benz vehicle in accordance with the vehicle service schedule as indicated by the instrument cluster; and
• All scheduled maintenance work must be performed within 30 days or 500km of due procedure by an authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer or an Authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Centre.

Failure to comply with the above requirements may void the Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan and vehicle warranty.

This Scheduled Service Plan will be void and automatically cease to operate if:

• The owner or operator of the vehicle does anything which causes or would cause the Passenger Vehicle Warranty to cease to operate or expire; or
• The vehicle is being or has been used for hire, driver instruction or conveyance of passengers for fare or courier purposes.

This service plan is fully transferable and remains with the vehicle. It will be automatically transferred to the new owner in the event of sale. The new owner must continue to adhere to the conditions outlined in this plan for it to remain valid.

The Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan shall not include or provide under its liability the following:

 

• Additional servicing or maintenance, parts or lubricants to perform maintenance not detailed in the vehicle service schedule or recommended by Mercedes-Benz;
• Vehicle registration, government licensing requirements, road user charges, fuel or insurance;
• Items subject to normal wear and tear including tyres, wheel alignments, brakes, wiper blades, oil top ups, bulb replacement, suspension components;
• Consequential damage due to neglect in relation to periodic and scheduled servicing;
• Breakages: glass, lenses, mirrors; body mounting
• Paint: touch-up of stone chips, repair of damage to body and wheels;
• Costs to the repair of items or assemblies not standard to the vehicle or non-genuine parts installed by any person other than an Authorised Mercedes-Benz Dealer or an Authorised Mercedes-Benz Service Centre;
• Damage: any damage caused by the owner/driver or a third party - for example the Mercedes-Benz Scheduled Service Plan does not include repairs needed as a result of damage caused by an accident, theft, motor-sport involvement, misuse or acts of negligence – including any damage due to any causes listed in the Passenger Vehicle Warranty which are expressed as not covered under that warranty;
• Items covered by the Passenger Vehicle Warranty (which will be covered separately by the Passenger Vehicle Warranty only to the extent they are covered by, and not excluded from, the Passenger Vehicle Warranty); and
• Any servicing or work carried out on the vehicle by any person not authorised by Mercedes-Benz.

  • Covers the necessary maintenance work according to the manufacturer's specifications for up to 6 years or a maximum of 90,000 km, whichever occurs first, and is transferable to the subsequent owner.
  • Carried out by your Mercedes-Benz service partner using Mercedes-Benz GenuineParts and special tools.
  • Inspection of safety-relevant and electrical components including high-voltage battery.
  • Changing of dust and interior air filters as well as brake fluid every 2 years.
