Mercedes-Benz New Zealand has been informed about a recall that will involve vehicles delivered to the New Zealand market. The recall relates to the brake booster fitted to certain Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, GL-Class (164 platform) and R-Class vehicles (251 platform) model year 2005 – 2013. Customers are advised to not drive their vehicles until the recall has been completed.

In the event of an emergency, QR Codes provide immediate access to detailed information specific to your vehicle model for rescue services.

To check whether your vehicle is fitted with QR code rescue stickers, you can inspect the fuel filler door or the opposite B-pillar of your vehicle. Alternatively QR code rescue stickers can now be retrofitted at your Authorised Mercedes-Benz Retailer.
