The AMG Performance seats in signature Nappa leather provide exceptional lateral support during various driving manoeuvres and are complemented by the AMG Performance steering wheel. A pair of adjustable rotary configuration dials towards the bottom of the steering wheel allow easy, intuitive control of the digital displays.

The driver-focused cockpit features the latest MBUX system with AMG-specific displays, including a track timer and G-force meter. The vertical 11.9-inch central display works in harmony with the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, creating a tech-forward yet elegant environment. 

A revolutionary drive system

The revolutionary drive system is what sets this vehicle apart. At the heart of the AMG GLC 63 S E PERFORMANCE lies a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine, enhanced by an electric exhaust gas turbocharger and paired with a rear-mounted electric drive unit. This sophisticated powertrain produces a combined output of 500kW and 1020Nm, with the rear-mounted electric motor producing 150kW of power and 320Nm of torque from the 6.1kWh lithium-ion battery.

That innovative high-voltage battery, developed in close collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG F1 program, provides rapid energy deployment and recovery. The electric drive unit sends its power to the front wheels to deliver instant acceleration, while the electric exhaust gas turbocharger virtually eliminates turbo lag, providing instantaneous response throughout the rev range.
