With flush-fitting door handles and sculpted front and rear guards, the car’s sleek silhouette hints at its aerodynamic prowess. Adaptive brake lights and 360-degree cameras offer a more advanced and intelligent driving experience while complementing its sophisticated, of-the-moment design.

Smooth sailing

The high-tech nature of the all new E-Class is apparent before you’re even slid inside. Thanks to the KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package with Digital Vehicle Key functionality, simply having the key or a compatible smart device like an iPhone or Apple Watch in hand is enough to unlock the vehicle; as soon as it detects you’re in the immediate vicinity, the door handles automatically extend outwards, inviting you inside. 

This is merely a prelude to the exhilarating driving experience the all new E-Class provides. Beneath its elegant exterior lies a three-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with mild-hybrid configuration. Not only does the mild-hybrid set-up deliver an impressive 190kW of power and 400Nm of torque, it also offers fuel efficiency gains.

Perhaps what’s most remarkable about driving this vehicle is how easily it adapts to different road and traffic conditions. Whether you’re navigating through busy urban streets, tackling winding country roads or cruising along long stretches of highway, the car’s rear-axle steering and optional AIRMATIC suspension ensure optimal stability and a smooth, effortless drive. At the heart of the interior is the MBUX Superscreen, a new-generation infotainment system capable of memorising the driver’s different ‘routines’ or personal habits. Depending on your preferences, the car will, for example, switch on seat heating if the temperature drops below a pre-set level. 

The Superscreen features a 14.4-inch central touchscreen display and a 12.3-inch display for the front passenger, taking up two-thirds of the dashboard beside the driver’s instrument panel, with a cabin-facing camera mounted on the dash. Additionally, the Augmented Reality Navigation feature overlays directions onto the road ahead via an innovative head-up display.
