With a Mercedes-Benz Agility Loan, you gain added flexibility and reassurance with a Guaranteed Future Value of your car at the point of purchase.
Once your Agility contract expires, you have the choice to:
Trade: Upgrade your current vehicle for a new one and always have the latest in technology, safety and efficiency.
Retain: Enjoy the flexibility to refinance or pay out the remaining Guaranteed Future Value[a].
Return: Simply hand back the vehicle and walk away, subject to meeting the Fair Wear & Tear conditions.
We understand that every Mercedes-Benz customer is different, so our finance is as flexible as you need it to be.
Decide the amount you would like to put down as a deposit on your chosen car and agree the term of your agreement. Throughout the term of your contract you pay regular instalments over the agreed term until the remainder of its value is repaid. Depending on your situation you can decide to include a final 'balloon payment', which is a lump sum, at the end of the term.
Benefits:
Establishment Fee
Up to $295. This fee covers the cost of processing, assessing and approving your finance application.
PPSR Registration Fee
$10.35. This is fee is for registering our security interest on the Personal Property Security Register.
Early Termination
A creditor’s loss fee will be applied if you early terminate your contract. This fee is to compensate the Lender for any loss suffered by the Lender, should you decide to fully repay all monies owing under your contract before the final repayment is due.
Default interest
Default interest is calculated at the rate of 10% per annum plus the annual interest rate referred to in your contract. If you fail to make any payment on the due date, default interest is payable on the overdue amount from the due date until the date Mercedes-Benz Financial receives full payment of that overdue.
Recovery Costs
We will charge you any costs charged by third parties relating to your Consumer Credit Agreement e.g. Legal, Repossession Agent or vehicle repairer.
Standard rates, fees and charges applied to Consumer Contracts
Our standard interest rates range from 10.30% to 13.30% per annum and fixed for the whole term of the contract. Interest charged under the contract is calculated by multiplying the unpaid average daily balance outstanding at the due date of each month by the monthly interest rate. The monthly interest rate is calculated by dividing the annual interest rate by 12. Current interest rates are dependent on term, deposit and dealer discretion. Mercedes-Benz Financial normal lending and credit assessment criteria apply. These interest rates are current as at the present day however are subject to change. Mercedes-Benz Financial New Zealand will assess your application and let you know within 48 hours. There may be circumstances where we are unable to approve your application online. That does not necessarily mean you cannot finance your vehicle through Mercedes-Benz Financial New Zealand. We will let you know by email if we require more information.
For consumer credit contracts you will need recent payslips to confirm income, recent utility bill to confirm residential address and copy of drivers license to confirm your identification.
For business credit contracts you will need all of the documents required for consumer loans. In addition, recent financial information.
You must be 18 years of age. In addition, proven payment ability to secure financing with Mercedes-Benz Financial New Zealand.
